After sustaining a high ankle sprain in February, he re-injured it following his release from the mandatory 14-day hotel quarantine earlier this week. Andino will be replaced by @mattbanting at Newcastle, as he is the highest-ranked surfer on the Australia/Oceania Qualifying Series rankings.”
Andino is sitting in the 17th spot in the rankings following the first event in Hawaii. Speedy recovery to Andino!
